MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy - Post qualification

Post qualification

Programme Leader: Dr Diane Hodgson

Practitioners who have qualified elsewhere in Gestalt, are invited to gain an MSc, validated by Middlesex University, on the basis of previous training combined with a course of continuing professional development at Metanoia.

Candidates will apply to have their prior learning recognised and awarded 120 credits towards the Masters degree through the Accreditation of Prior Learning process. They will then identify their particular areas of interest in relation to their professional development and attend a series of workshops on areas of psychotherapy theory and practice. Candidates who choose to focus on a particular area (such as couples work, group work or working with trauma) may combine their study with the attainment of a Metanoia Practitioner Certificate.

During the course of study candidates will demonstrate through their practice, their reflection and a dissertation (8000-10,000 words) the integration of their work into practice.

Candidates who are unable to attend Metanoia in person may apply to achieve the MSc through private study, practice and dissertation.

This programme was developed and is delivered and assessed by Metanoia Institute awarded by and quality assured by Middlesex University.
