This brand new BSc (Hons), which runs alongside Metanoia Institute’s Diploma in Humanistic Counselling qualification, provides an in-depth training for those wishing to take up a career in counselling. The course features two taught years, on a Monday (during term time) from 12.00pm – 7.30pm, with the addition of a third year in the form of a dissertation year.

The course includes theoretical input, skills training, personal development and practical experience of working with clients. As mentioned above, you will begin the dissertation module upon completion of your two taught years. Students graduate from this course through the successful completion of this 8,000 dissertation, along with an oral examination.

Should you choose the BSc route you will, in addition a Metanoia Diploma, receive a BSc (Hons) in Humanistic Counselling from Middlesex University, whereas the diploma route will culminate in the award of a Metanoia Diploma in Humanistic Counselling. This course is a British Association of Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) accredited training programme.

This programme was developed and is delivered and assessed by Metanoia Institute awarded by and quality assured by Middlesex University.
